This summer Su-kam power systems decided to contribute to the society by donating 3 AC coolers ‘Earth’s Saviours Foundation’. This internationally recognized NGO is located in Gurgaon, Haryana and is dedicated to serve under privileged people. Committed to serve humanity this NGO founded in 2008 is headed by social activist and environmentalist Ravi Kalra.
Su-Kam’s Managing Director Mr. Kunwer Sachdev feels the heat of the under privileged and wants to leave no stone unturned to return back to the society. The intention of gifting AC coolers was just a small payback of what we have achieved so far. An inspirational and heroic gesture. We feel responsible towards contributing to the society and consider it as important as Su-Kam’s progress towards any other field. Giving back a part of the revenue that Su-Kam generates is a principle that we ardently follow.
Mr. Kanav Sachdev, Su-Kam’s brand manager says ‘We take pride in taking initiatives towards the betterment of the Indian society and we hope to inspire Indian citizens to get involved in such initiatives so that we as a whole can get together and make a difference to transform India into a developed nation with high living standards and a clean environment’.
Su-Kam and the Earth’s Saviours Foundation
Power crisis is a reality in India and Su-Kam being a pioneer in the renewable energy sector feels responsible towards improving the condition of rural as well as under privileged part of the society and uplift them for the betterment of the Nation. Mr. Ravi Kalra, the founder of Earths savior foundation says ‘There are over 300 people living permanently here and they are helpless and mentally challenged and we need to find it in our hearts to support them as much as we can. They live under iron roofs and during the day the temperature sores high. These AC coolers are a boon and we are very thankful to Su-Kam and their team’
The Earth’s savior foundation has been making sincere efforts in providing shelter to the abandoned. After installing the AC coolers in the old age home, there was a sense of relief and happiness as it gave them the much needed respite from the heat in these summer days. It was a proud moment to see them smiling.
Ms. Deepa is one of the social activists working in the NGO. She says ‘Su-Kam has been a great support and we feel blessed to have such companies looking out for old helpless people having their back in times of need’.
