Gone are the days when Su-Kam was only known for being the leader in providing power back-up solutions, we are all set to take on the entire power industry. Don’t get us wrong, we have a variety of products to match your power back-up needs and we are continuously trying to make our products better but we are walking towards another mission, now. Su-Kam is focused on providing clean and green power solutions to meet the energy deficit in India by tapping the power of the Sun.
Just last year, Su-Kam was successful in relieving the prestigious Gates Institute of Technology, Gooty, from its power problems by installing a solar power plant of 100 KW with a battery bank of 20 KW. The institute has written a letter of appreciation to Su-Kam for ensuring the smooth functioning of the power plant.
It seems that Su-Kam is slowly but steadily becoming the trusted power partner in the eyes of the Government of India as well. It was a proud moment for Su-Kam to become associated with the solar electrification of villages in Rajasthan. The public sector company, Rajasthan Electronics and Instruments Limited, Jaipur, has chosen Su-Kam to install 2 KVA Solar PCUs to electrify all gram panchayats of the state. Su-Kam is also going to maintain these systems for 5 years. This is the first of its kind solar projects for rural electrification through solar and Su-Kam’s employees are working rigorously to execute it.
If you thought that it is tough to set up solar power plants in a mountainous region you should know that when going gets tough, the tough gets going. Su-Kam is currently commissioning nine off-grid solar power projects of 50 KW each for Assam Rifles in different sectors of Assam Rifles at Manipur and Assam. Executing this project on the rugged, mountainous terrain of the north-east has been quite a challenge for Su-Kamians but a team that has Mr. Kunwer Sachdev as its leader, is never afraid of taking up challenges.
Su-Kam is not only on its way to Solarise India but is taking the power of sun to other developing countries as well. Su-Kam is helping its client, Olam in Gabon to install solar street lights in 5 villages. The company’s solar home lighting systems are also powering many houses in the region. The solar street lighting project in Gabon is bringing light for the first time in many villages of Gabon.
