Su-Kam’s grid tie inverter is gaining a much deserved popularity because of its advantage of running load on free solar power and also substantially reducing electricity bills by selling excess solar back to the main grid. Another major advantage is that return of investment of this product is just 3 years. A perfect combination.
Recently a home in Mohali owned by Mr. Chiranjeev Singh Saini decided to get a grid tie inverter installed at their privately owned mansion. They wanted to reduce their monthly electricity bill of Rs. 10000 and run their load completely on solar power.
GRID TIE INSTALLATION BY KAPIL DEV SONI
For this installation Mr. Chiranjeev Singh contacted Su-Kam’s loyal and trusted distributer Kapil Dev Soni in Gurshankar Punjab. Mr. Kapil has been with sukam for 5 years now and has a thorough knowledge of solar installations. He advised Chiranjeev singh to install the following:
HOW IT WORKS
The grid tie inverter has been inbuilt with dual MPPT technology that is 97% efficient and is available in a wide range of 1.5KW to 20KW. So one does not need to waste money in buying a separate solar charge controller. During the day, the grid tie inverter receives solar power from the solar panels and runs the load. If excess solar power is generated then the solar power is transferred back to the grid through a net metering device that will keep a record of the number of units that has been sold.
INITIAL INVESTMENT AND RETURN OF INVESTMENT
The cost of the entire installation was Rs. 4.8 Lakh. The system generates about 30 units of electricity every day. They consume about 25 units of electricity every day. That means 900 units of electricity per month and 10,800 units per year. That add ups to Rps. 43,200 saved in a year. The entire cost would be recovered in approximately 11 years. That reduces their monthly electricity bill and also they can run their load leisurely on free solar power.
Mr. Chirajeev was extremely happy with the installation and wants to thank Su-Kam for helping him reduce his electricity expenditures. We wish him the very best!
